Been playing a few test games with double Lash and finding it hard to get the right balance. So this is what i tested last night against a very competetive strong SW list played by an experienced player. I lost both games, the second was pretty close.

DP + Lash + wings

DP + Lash + Wings - Lash one unit Forward twice with both Lashes / Combat Lashed unit.

Oblit x3 - Shoot the crap out of Lashed Units / Pop Transports.

I'd like to keep the Oblits and DP's with Lashes, but otherwise, what would you guys suggest for the rest? I was finding my troops survivablity to be quite an issue. I'm not sure if Plague Marines all round might be a better approach, your thoughts would be most appreciated.

Lash DP lists are noob killers. Facing prepared enemies, they suck.

Remember that any competetive list would contain at least one anti-psychic method(if possible).

SW? Well, they have the 4+ magic sticks, 5+ save from wolftail talisman, and also could introduce hood from DH/WH...you have no chance.

It wasnt so much the anti Psychic stuff, he did have a magic stick and a talisman which was a pain in the ass. He brought the list to push my list as hard as he could.

This is my first Lash List, Im just wondering what improvements I could make to make it work better.

I'm just not sure on troop choice balance in this list.

Any thoughts?

Take three squads of PMs and you have the standard cockie cutter list.

TS don't offer very much IMO.
Too many oblits at 1500.

Troops wins you games. The lash/pie plate is at best a distraction to take shots away from the game winners (troops).

Switch those TS into PM's if you want to win games, people are going to moan either way since you've got twin lash so you may aswell just run PM's and beat them
