It is very annoying when an X-BOX 360 has passed away (red ring of death) and it's out of warranty buts what more annoying is when it has red ringed and automatically turned off while still being pugged into external power i'm currently trying to fix it i think it is extremly rare

My xbox died and its out of warranty so i have to fix it myself i fixed it before but it died again

There is something to discuss the xbox 360 red ring of death. I fixed my red ringing xbox without sending it back or using the towel trick

Mine red ringed the other day, I just let it sit a few days, then unplugged it and plugged it back in again and it was fin. WTF i know, but, hey it works

The one I had was one of the first line ups. It was a pile of gak. It red ringed all the time, but it always would turn on and work after a minute. I got sick of it and finally sold the junker.

When mine red ringed i let it sit for a while but that didn't work there are different kinds of red rings on the xbox mine showed that it had a hardware/software failure and the only normal way to fix it was to send it back but my xbox is rather old while fixing it i saw the production date but it isn't very precise it showed the month and year
