somehow, just looking at the pics of the transport area of the valk (with the seated elysians) and the light tauros, i don't see it fitting inside. either way, pretty cool. the regular valk can carry the 4 wheeled light vehicle or a sentinel and the heavy lifter can carry the 6 wheeler.

The Elysians in the Valk look pretty cool, same with the Tauros Vehicle. I'm heading to the Open Day so I might pick up one of the Ork Bots.

I think its a new forge world model that the atv attaches to. Part of their new releases. Normal valks won't be able to carry it, unless you're using Forge world rules and a normal valk as a proxy.

you'd have to use FW rules as the venators (both 4 and 6 wheeled varieties) are not in standard 40k. if your opponent's already ok'ed non-garg/superheavy FW stuff, the heavy lifter is no problem.

The new Venator is a smaller vehicle.
4 wheels as opposed to 6. given the width hasn't changed, I'd wager that the 6 wheeler will also fit into a Valkyrie.

Different weapons loadout as well.

Looks light a lighter scout variant - like the difference between the scouting sentinels and the armoured ones.

They're cool models, and I like the idea, but how many points do you want to spend to move a light vehicle anywhere on the boards? I would've thought a nippy little buggy like that could get to where it wants without an airlift?

I reckon its not about points, but all about coolness!! Although there is a tactical advantage in dropping your twinlinkedlascannon tank hunting monster on wheels in from any table edge, and then having its transporter with rocket pods or lascannons circle around and claim more kills!

I love the model, but can't afford the price! I hope it becomes more effective or fluff tastic when the new forge world campaign book comes out!

yeah, i'd honestly have no problem with people using them as scout and armored sentinels in regular 40k games (for the 4 and 6 wheeled versions respectively). they're shorter and longer so ultimately i don't see too much of a modelling advantage there.
