The heat scorch is a combo of airbrush and weathering powder.

I was going to do something similar on my Imp Fist pods, but then my tests didn't come out as I wanted, and I ended up with nice clean pods.

I'd suggest that you break up the yellow a bit more. The "inner panel" on the "body vanes" looks nice in metal. Or get some red on there... Something to make it less monocrhromatic...

These are amazing, particularly the pod - awesome weathering.

One small thing - there's flash on the sternguard's feet.

Those are some seriously nice paint jobs you've done there, on every model. Love the little effects on the Drop Pod, like the hundreds of little scratches and nicks running down the sides; must have taken ages to do, but it makes it look well-worn and used.

Armor chipping, weathering, scorching, perfect yellow for Imp Fists, detailed interior, and not too much iconography....... Check, check, check, check, check, aaaaannnd, check. Great job on this, I love it!

The Yellow is the Davies method
Vomit Brown basecoat with bleched bone highlights.
Then I make a glaze with old school GW yellow Ink and matte medium which I glaze all the vomit brown which tints it to the shade of Industrial Yellow which you see on the models.
I see the Fist's yellow like Construction equipment.
I use Mig productions Rust and Smoke set for the weathering powder using a mix of the Black and grey powders.

Did you convert the pod to carry those assault cannons? How'd you find ones small enough to fit?

Amazing, Your take on the yellow's clever, modern day construction equipment and Fists have alot in common now that I think about it. They make and destroy buildings, they're tough, they get covered in muck, goes on and on.

How'd you paint the verdigris on your dreads?

The assault cannon is chopped off from the Ravenwing Sprue
I cut it behund the red line then attached the ammobox to the rear.


The verdi-Gris is a mix of Vallejos verdi-gris glaze and gw scaly green
