Just a quick idea I had wanted to see if there was anything wrong with my reckoning.

Say I had a unit of 5xNM in a Rhino and a unit of 5x Vanilla CSM deployed next to them in the initial deployment.

Can I merge the unit of CSM into the NMs Rhino at the start of my turn 1? So that the CSM can act as wound meat for the rest of the game?

Or can I just start both units in a rhino at the start.

Just checking hope I'm not being too stupid.

You also *cannot* merge units, unless you have a special rule allowing it such as Imperial Guard have.
