Hey everyone. I have alot of projects going on and have been to lazy to post any of them in the last 2 months or so, but i am going to start yet another project that i will most definatly finish.

I am going to make a diorama of a demolition match in rundown from call of duty: modern warefare 2. It will be of someone planting the bomb at "A". and the surronding area.

hmmm that particular scene does not really float my boat knowing mw2 has many other diorama able moments, not downing your idea but i think if your going to the effort, make it worth wile

I know, but it is more of practice of my skill and that sort of deal. also based on my research on figures in the 28mm scale it seems that i almost have to do something with the rangers and either the militia or opfor.

Well I have begun work on it and so far i have a rough shape for it and a coat of laytex house paint on it. i know that the hills are a little bumpy. i am going to fix that later.

I play it on my ps3 and xbox. i just cant get the hang of computers for gaming.

Actually i'm sora stuck on that part. i want to buy a sedan and sorta crush and break it so it is like in the game, but i cant find a 1/48 scale sedan. Anylinks would be nice if you have some.

Might have some luck there. I didn't really dig much, but it looks like a good place. Worth a shot anyway.

Most model cars at that scale are going to be die-cast though, not plastic. Which means you'll be spending close to $100 in most cases, just to wreck something and paint it to look burned out. But if you want detail and quality, die-cast is the way to go. Plus, being metal, you can warp it without having to worry about any of the surfaces breaking off too easily. And Die cast -will- save you the assembly side of things, so you can pretty much it up with some pliers and a hammer out of the box.

I actually kinda like Rundown, some nice snipey spots and those bridges make for fun "run along guns blazing" kinda play ... and yet I always end up bottom of the leaderboard ...

Thanks for all the help. I just want to find the right mmodel but its hard to find 1:48 scale cars. Also i need 2 or 3 28mm scale chickens if anyone knows how to find some of those.

He's not looking for military vehicles. That's all that Tamiya does. What he's searching for (I believe) is a late 80's/early 90's family Sedan. And at 1/48 Die Cast is really all you're going to find.

Yep. That is exactly wat im looking for. I am going to go down to my local hobby shop tomorrow i think and look to see if they have anything that would remotely work. If not its an online order.

Tamiya does have lots of non military vehicles; that was the one that caught my eye for the vehicle I remember being rusted/gutted there. Since I thought he was doing the mission where you're running through the slums trying to get to the evac chopper.

Very minor update. Just tested out a texture on the building and added 1 wall.

Small update:
I ahve ordered the figures for the diorama from the assault group and will post pics when they arrive. i wont be doing much work on the actual diorama this week though. i am hoing to power through 10 or 20 space marines and a figure for a contest.

So the figure got here and i have started painting them, but i only took 1 pic. he is a free figure but i just thought his pose was epic yet plain. i love it.

BTW im not done painting him yet.

Could be good but I really hate Rundown as a map. The colours just loook wrong.
