Like the title says, I need wings for a dragon (HE dragon) to convert it to a faerie dragon. Basically, that just means adding faerie wings to the dragon.
Anyone knows where I can find such things? A whole warhammer-scaled dragon would be nice too.

Interesting question.
Have been wondering how to tackle it myself. Not seen Ariel on ebay as yet, and would imagine that there would be a lot of competition for the figure.
Am planning on scratch building Ariel for my daughter - to be honest the moth wings Ariel has dont look good to me.
Possible solution may be to make a wire frame and cover with light/transluscent material and pva glue.
or use cellulase dope? Klear/Future floor polish?

Garden ornaments could be worth a look?
I've seen a fair few wall mounted butterfly types that could fit well.
It says these are 12" wingspan which seems about right?
Can't be too sure on thickness/scale/level of detail but this sort of thing....

Nice find, Alex. My mom actually has heaps of those buggers, but none of the right size. I might look into those a bit more.
About Ariel, her wings would be way too small, but I'm indeed looking for heaps of wings for elves too. For the spellsingers and I did want to go with butterflies or something like that for the warhawk riders. Not sure bout that. Maybe "paradise birds" instead. Automatically Appended Next Post: Also, does anyone have examples of "rainbowy" or "faeric" painted dragons?

Another potential option is to find some real butterfly wings.
I've seen it done on several fairy models before and it looks quite nice.
The acquisition of the butterfly itself might be a bit difficult, but I'm sure you might be able to find a source on the net. Although, to avoid any legal issues or troubles with any Prevention of Cruelty to Animals group, I'd advise you to try to find something that's already deceased and not something living.
