Ok, another attempt on army lists...

catachan's in a not unfluffy aircav list.

HQ:
Straken, company command, standard bearer, vox, heavy flamer, 2 bodyguards , complete set of 3 advisors.
- atttach priest with eviscerator

option 1: commissar lord, power weapon
option 2: primaris psyker
option 3: invest points into another unit/upgrades

Elite:

Marbo

Psyker battle squad ( 10 )

Fast Attack:

Squad of scout sentinels ( 3 ) with heavy flamers ( old catachan scheme )

Squadron of Valkyries ( 3 )

Squadron of Vendettas ( 3 )

Troops:

Harker, veterans ( 10 ) heavy bolter, flamer, ( skirmish? upgrade => defensive grenades+camo )

veterans ( 10 ) heavy flamer, meltagun x2, vox

veterans ( 10 ) Missile launcher, plasmagun x2

veterans ( 10 ) sniper rifles x3 ( upgrade like harkers boys )

veterans ( 10 ) flamer x2, vox ( pioneer? upgrade => meltabombs + democharge )

at 2000, just need to sort out option 1-3.

Sentinels, marbo and harkers squad footslog, everyone else get a ride.

So where to go?

More psi ? ( ie primaris )
The not so fluffy comissar?

I think going with the second ccs was the better choice. With all of the extra advisers that will add a lot more options to your army.

You might want to drop the heavy weapons in the vet squads because the way you've built it it seems the squads will all be moving and not be able to shoot them.

CCS does look better in v.2.

I think you really need to lose the sentinels so you can field the planes in 3 squadrons of 2 - otherwise your tactical options are pretty restricted.

I would never give these veterans HWTs, I think giving them 3x[special weapon] makes a lot more sense.

Valkyries should have missile pods.

I just can't reiterate enough, all veteran units need 3 of the same special weapon, and no heavy. Try 3 melta squads, 2 plasma units, 1 flamer squad. I would make Harkers squad with plasma, if you're infiltrating him on foot.
