I think it actually looks really good.

The only things I would do would be to drop the searchlights and meltabombs definitely. And since you only have 6 models in the rhino.. why not swap it out for a TL Heavy Flamer razorback? I mean you're throwing it at the enemy anyways, right? Why not get some extra flamy goodness? Because of this, I think you could also swap the hand flamers for infernus pistols in the squads with meltaguns. You need at least 2 meltashots to even expect to do anything. 1 is a hope, 2 is pretty sure, and 3/4 generally means dead tank. lol. The lance/melta/infernus pistol should kill a tank pretty reliably.

I don't know if all the powerweapons/powerfists are necessary though.. but if its what you like, then go for it I guess. Just remember that you're spending 95 points on those. lol.

I'd like to comment, but I do not have the Codex in front of me. From what I remember of the codex I'm wondering why you didn't just turn the 2 Librarians into 1 HQ, like The Sanguinorl, or Meph. From what I remember The Sanguinor would complement one of the groups without a priest nicely....That and he looks so sexy.

Consolidating 2 5mans into 1 10 man would also give it a lot more killing power.

Uhh. Sanguinor is 275 points. This is a 1500 point game. That's an absurd amount to put into one character at such a low level. At least the librarians are more utility. (but yes, his model looks amazing lol)

And I don't see how consolidating 2 five man squads into one ten man is a good thing.. he losing out on a scoring unit, a vehicle, and a sarge.

Since you could take new-version cheap immolators, the lasplas razorbacks seems overpriced.

And I don't think that you need so many officers.

I get the Razorbacks at a wonderful discount, though. The upgrade is basically free with my RAS.

If you purchase TL-HF, you would got an additional great discount.

I didn't remember the cost, just that he had awesome stats, lol. The turning 2 five mans into 1 ten man gives him a central assault squad. I see everyone splitting up into 5 man squads, but they then loose A LOT of staying power and attack power. 5 man squads are a heck of a lot easier to kill off then 1 large 10 man squad. If he was going to have 1 HQ, he could use that to lead them, and it would make nice wrecking ball.

I do agree that at this point level 275 points into one unit is pretty nuts.

Sanguinor cannot join the squad, since he isn't an IC, so combining for a central assault squad isn't worthwhile.

Also, people are going for 5-man RAS because of the 35pt discount on Razorbacks that allows a freebie Las/Plas upgrade, as well as them being Fast vehicles.

The problem with Heavy Flamers is that they are Heavy Flamers, meaning Template range is suicide. The idea is to be a pseudo-gunline with assault capabilities.

tokugawa- the problem is that the celestians aren't scoring, neither are the dominions. These are really your two mainstays in the immolator spam army. Now normally it is an advantage to be a scoring unit, but in this case, you're throwing them right at the opponent, literally as close as possible. Do you really want to suicide your scoring units? The immolator spam army has the advantage of having their suicide squads be non scoring, and while the troops also have the meltas/heavy flamer immolator, there are enough of them that you aren't forced to throw them at the opponent. This is not the case with the blood angels. Honorguard, Sternguard, and vanguard are the other places that you can the fast razorback with twinlinked heavy flamer... and the problem is that all of the above squads are very very expensive in comparison.

So yes, assault marines in a twin linked heavy flamer razorback with melta/infernus pistol is cheaper and arguably better than the celestian squad... in a vacuum. But regarding the list as whole, the sisters still do the 'fast scorcha taxi' spam a whole lot better.

Although I do agree with you that mech BA is definitely competitive, it's not for the reason you have given.
