so, i am not sure if this is the best place for this, but i am curious about Adepticon. i live about 2 hrs from Chicago, and am on Spring Break, so i might want to check it out. but i'm not registered for any tournament (no full army anyway) but thought some of the workshops n painting/modelling might be interesting, and maybe there will be neat vendors with things that you normally can't get (unless you're ordering online) is there neat stuff to be acquired there? or if i'm not playing should i just sit it out and wait for the web coverage later?

Do they have space for open gaming? For the 40k tournaments, how much terrain do they use on the tables?

I would go in a heartbeat.

There should be on-site registration for some things, as well as LIKELY pick-up games, but I dunno if there is space for that.

Vendors like Battlefoam will be there, and I think Sabol will be as well.

Did you check out Adepticon's website?
