Greetings Dakka-Dakka,

I am hoping that someone can help me with this question.

Can a Chaos Lash Sorcerer target a squad if he can only see two members of it? Or one member?
On page 15 in the little box under Shooting Sequence; #1 says that if you can see at least one enemy model you can shoot.
On page 50 under psykers it says that psychic shooting attacks are treated just like shooting attacks.

How would this work?

Thanks in advance.

The sorceror can use lash, and then inconveniently pull you out of cover into a nice little small blast sized formation.

You may take a cover save against any wound caused by Lash...unfortunately lash does not cause any wounds.

As above - it is a shooting attack, and therefore all you need to do to "shoot" lash at the unit is be able to draw LOS (and range) to at least one member of the unit.

This then pulls you out of cover, normally into a waiting Obliterator plasma cannon...

It works just like shooting, so if you can see one model, the whole unit can be affected, provided it passes a psy test and is in range.

Like Calypso2ts said, cover saves can't be used against it and it will most likely pull you out of it.

There is then a pinning test... so if you are pinned you do get a 6+ cover in the open

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Thanks everyone. That is how I thought it worked, but I wanted to be sure.
I appreciate all of the comments
