Hey ever-y-boddy
So if I tank shock an infantry unit with my battlewagon with deffrolla, they take the deffrolla hits before they test for morale, right?
Also, if thats true, are they close combat attacks? As in would those deaths be negative modifiers to their morale test?
That's all I'm wondering really, thanks for anyone who has run into or has insight to this situation

That being said, I could be wrong. |

They occur after, as the unit chooses to DOG afterwards and that decision modifies the number of hits.
They are not CC hits, and even if they were and they occurred first they wouldn't affect the units morale for the test as it isn't a combat resolution.

Gorkamorka has it spot on, they happen in the movement phase, they cannot be Close Combat hits!

ok, makes sense.

It has to happen after the morale check, as until they pass it they cannot choose to DoG

Noo the FAQ says a unit that DoGs suffer 2D6 attacks so both take place after testing, thus if a unit dosent DoG it still suffers the D6 after testing.

No, the unit suffers 2D6 in total - nothing states it isnt D6 <test morale> D6 (if DoG)

Yup. WHat you do is:
Declare Tank Shock
Roll a D6.
They Test Morale.
If they Fail or Pass and do not DoG, resolve the D6 Hits
If they Pass and do DoG, Roll a 2nd D6 and then Resolve the 2D6 and the DoG together.
