So I wil leventually be returning to my first love warhammer soon .Iwas thinknig of going with warriors of chaos . Are they any good ?

Well they're a Chaos faction .That usually means curbstompy godness .

Warriors of Chaos are based on elite Warrior infantry and cavalry (elite being synonomous with expensive, points-wise) and somewhat less expensive Marauders. The trick is, you often get outnumbered, both unit-to-unit and in overall number of units, making the move phase more difficult. WoC also almost totall lacks any shooting, so there's another phase you're going to have a hard time with. You can do well in magic, but wizards are expensive which means you have even less troops, leaving you even more outnumbered...

But once you hit Close Combat you will destroy everything you touch. That is the strength of WoC.

When I go up against WoC with a CC list, I just plain loose. If I have a mobility or shooty list I can take care of business okay, and my magic lists can usually do their share, but in CC there is no beating WoC... short of Daemons.

They also have some of the funniest things in WHFB, such as Infernal puppet and the hellcannon.
And Kholek Suneater.
And Core troops with 2 attacks S4 and 3+ Armour save. Somewhat expensive, but who cares.
Oh, and did I mention Infernal puppet? What can be better than modifying the miscasting?

so they are abit challenging but worth it then hmmm. I orignally played high elves so I didnt know wether to return to them or go with woc .

Warriors of Chaos can play some super aggressive, very punishing combat lists. They're damn decent at magic as well.

More importantly, do you like the army? Will you enjoy modeling and painting the force? Are there some models you absolutely love in the list?

I find that the latter factors might have quite a bit more with how much one commits to the army their building, and thus, the enjoyment they derive from it.

Well I do like chaos for 40k ,so I like evil looking bulky warriors. You do have apoint there . I think I will get woc and still play high elves aswell . Always good to have variety .
