so most of the time when a DT is stating what it can carry it states marines and terminators separately, i could be reading something wrong but a drop pod just says ten models, can i put ten terminators in a drop pod?

Terminators count as two models for transport capacity (and cannot embark on a couple of listed vehicles).

I'm pretty sure that's how its stated or/and works in practice.

No, you cannot put 10 in a Drop Pod, because terminators count as 2 models for Transport Capability.

Drop Pods are dedicated transports, so you'll only be able to put Terminators in them if the Terminators in whichever codex you are using have Drop Pods listed as a transport option.


ICs in Terminator Armour can be joined to a unit in a Drop Pod in any codex... and count as two models.

Termies usually take up the space of 2 models so you'll need to find a drop pod with a transport
capacity of 20 models.

Please note that droppods may differ in space marine codices.
Could you specify the codex in question?
