Surprisingly good looking. Would have never figured something like that would not only work, but actually look GOOD.
The only problem is that it may cause some LoS issues...

Thank you so much i wish the photo where better. I cant tell you how much of a pain in the butt it was to fix the Thorax and the Tail. The head was rather easy to my pleasure and surprise. Cant wait to paint it up and Base it. Automatically Appended Next Post: As far as LOS goes. Does a trigon really slither across the table on its tippy tail toes. That seems like an attack pose. Worse Case during LOS check i sub out the AWSOME CONVERSION for my other Try in reg mode.

Yup, this is how I happily get around my trygon conversions being a little short.
Nice work on the conversion. Pics are a little confusing with the glass backround and all but that may just be my hangover.

Very nice . Plastic kits are the best for conversions.

Brilliant. Best use of the trygon kit i have seen so far, looking at it now i does seem rather stupid that a trygon would just slither about on the end of its tail like that, especially as a burrowing creature.
well done once more, for an excellent and fluffy conversion

Amazing- it's like it's just popped out of the tunnel like a funnel-web and it's saying 'Ooh, i'm just gonna eat you all up!' with its big old predator mouth. I can even imagine the horrible hissing noise it'll be making...

I am really liking the scorpion style you got going there. The dramatic change of profile sets it apart from all the rest, too.
How difficult was it to do the conversion?

The conversion so far took me about 10 hours. But while i was making it i was also making 40 Space Marine Scouts and putsing around my house. COnverting the Tail was Very Difficult i had to use an x-acto saw to cut it up. However the Rest was really not that bad.

Just a couple of weeks ago I was looking at a friend's Mawloc (as it chewed through my army) and thinking what a silly pose the 'up on tip tale' was.
Fantastic job, sir.

This is a really nice idea, looks better than I'd expected.
To avoid tedious LOS arguments, you could perhaps pose it on top of a destroyed vehicle or building to bring it closer to standard trygon height?
