So I figure it can carry two units and a dread.... should i model it to be the size of two land raiders and a drop pod? or alittle bigger than two rhinos and a pod?...I'm kinda confused on how it ahold look and how big it should be.

Get something that can fit two units and a dread, then build something the same size. Make it look like a cool plane or something. A lot of armour would be great, as well as well-made weaponry.

trying to think of how it should look (i was thinking as large as a LR without treads in back, a smallneck area for dread, and a cockpit like area size of rhino...

also I'd probably need a good source of plasticard and space marine ship fluff pics

There is a nice pic of a self-modeled Storm Raven at the Chicago Battle Bunker (GW).
It looks like a Valkyrie with parts from a LR.

i wuldnt be overly worried about size too much. if you look at the rhino you would never get 10 space marines in one, your best bet is to make something you think looks good and fits the fluff and roughly looks big enough

It can carry 2 units - not two units and a dread

1 of those units can be up to 12 models in size, the other is the dread.

Why do people keep comparing it to a Land Raider? Its only armour 12.

I see it more as a Valk upgrade with grapples for a dread between the two rear spars...
