Hey guys,
Quick question... If I want to paint orange fatigues on Cadians, how do I do it?
I was thinking Snakebite Leather basecoat with Blazing Orange over risen areas... but looking at GW's site, Vomit Brown seems to be a better colour for an undercoat?
Or should I go for a light red?
I am pretty useless with all this... but I assume I'd put on the basecoat, then do an Ogryn Flesh wash and then Blazing Orange over the top?
I'll appreciate quick replies, I want to order my supplies!

What type of uniforms? We talking about traditional Camo, or more like a penal legion jumpsuit? Automatically Appended Next Post:

Penal Legion, sorry, should have been specific!
Looking at the picture it looks like you could just do it with Blazing Orange and either darken it for the base or add a bit of skull white for the highlights?

Try using deneb stone as a base coat then orange over it.
I think that DS covers better than the foundation yellow.

I did these guys with a black basecoat, a coat of Bestial Brown, a coat of orange, and then a red wash. Drybrush orange back over the top and then highlight with white and orange mixed.

I used Macharius solar orange with Blazing orange over it.
Gives a nice solid and bright "shoot me first" colour.
