Its getting close to summer, and I need to figure out how I want to expand my Eldar army again! In that spirit, here is the list I was thinking of working up to.
I have about 1500 points right now, and am trying to figure out a coherant list for the future.

Total: 1996
HQ: 233

Farseer- Doom, Warding, Witnessing, Spear (runs with banshees)
Autarch- wjg, blasters, power sword, fusion gun (runs with 'spiders)

Elites: 482
10 Banshees- exarch, executioner
Wave Serpent- cannon, stones

5 Fire Dragons
Wave Serpent- cannon, stones

Troops: 811
10 Dire Avengers- exarch, duel cats, bladestorm
Wave Serpent- eml, stones

10 Storm Guardians w/ Lock- 2 flamer, destructor
Wave Serpent- eml, stones

3 Bikes w/ Lock- Cannon, spear, destructor

3 Bikes w/ Lock- Cannon, spear, destructor

Fast Attack: 240
9 Warp Spiders- exarch, blades, dds, withdraw

Heavy Support: 230
Fire Prism
Fire Prism

I may be a bit low on troops, but jet bikes can stay alive fairly well with jsj. and with the warlocks, they should be able to put the hurt on any target.

I've never tried warp spiders, but they seem like they could be a lot of fun. Are they allowed to use their assault move jump the turn they deep strike?

any advise is appreciated, I already own 10 banshees, so I feel obligated to use them... but I recon I could be persuaded to not use them. I just like having them around to make 3+ save units think twice.

Overall looks pretty well rounded, just one pointer. For the jet bikes run the lock with Embolden, over wise be prepared to have them run off the board every single game anyone manages to kill a single one. Yes, talking from a LOT of painful experience there.

Also,Have fun with your wave serpents running around
I had fun with them, except that lootas are very effective against them, without vectored engines

What does Vectored Engines have to do with anything? An imobilized Serpent is about as good as a dead one anyway. No point in wasting pts on useless upgrades.

Anyway, one squad of Dragons is too little in a 2k army. If you wannna use the Jetbikes for anything but turbobosting on your home objective then I would merge them into one large unit with an embolden lock. I find Banshees entierly lack luster. They would be great if the serpent had assault ramps or similar but now they are just meh. Anyone with half a brain will be able to avoid them...

I cannot believe in a God who wants to be praised all the time.

I split up my jetbikes for 2 reasons.
1) 2 warlocks means more singing spears to toss into rear armor
2) its a lot easier to tuck a squad of four out of sight with jsj than a squad of 7.

I definitely see your point with banshees, I like having a counter charge unit, and I like (and own) the models. If they suck too horribly though, I'll replace them with another squad of fire dragons.

HI there
I have recently start using jetbikes with lock and destructor and I think that 5 of them (including warlock) is enough, I am fielding two squads of them, both with the shuriken cannon, destructor and spear, 3 is not enough 5 is good

Try using harlies instead of banshiess, 8 harlies with death jester, seer, troupe master and one fusion pistol (I take tropue master for marines without jester and for anything else I take jester instead ) is enough to persuade any marine to get back to drop pod and head back to emperor

Have fun

I second the use of harlies. They ate a small unit of heavy armor nobs, and then finished off a half dead ghazzy in the next turn. Plus the veil of tears saved them from a round of loota fire. The only thing I can add to Zachar is kisses on the regular units and the seer. With the volume of attacks they get on the charge you're bound to get a few unsavable wounds.

There are a few reasons I don't want to run harlequins, if I'm wrong let me know :/ as I've never actually run them.

1) lack of a dedicated transport. Unless I grab a falcon, the Harlies are going to be on foot, and seeing as everything in my list is capable of very rapid speeds... that could end poorly... the only way I could see it happening is taking a waveserpent as a dedicated Scorpion transport, outflanking the scorps, and puting the harlies into the waveserpent. But I don't own scorpions either, and that sounds convoluted.

2) I have banshee models, not harlequins

3) I've heard harlies are expensive to collect, and difficult to paint. I'm not a fantastic painter... and I doubt I could handle the checkers.

4) I've also heard that harlies are overpriced for what they do compared to banshees or scorpions.

It looks like your bike units are a bit over built. At a size of four, they are going to have to take a morale check if they take one casusalty, and while they can dodge around a bit and plink with the cannon, to use destructior they are going to have to get up close and personal. Either dropping the warlocks or giving them embolden might be a better buy. A lot of objective games its best if the bikes start in reserve and then just spend the rest of the game turboboosting

I know you want to play with your banshees, but if you drop them you can do a couple nice things:

1) Add a unit war walkers. These guys with scatter lasers just cut apart hordes, light armor and a lot of MC.

2) Change the farseer to Eldrad. Hes the second best special character in the game, and at 2000 points he really fits in well. Dont forget his redeploy D3+1 ability too, can put those walkers into a much more advantageous spot after deployment sometimes.

Or keep the regular farseer and add a third war walker to the unit.

Why does my eldar army run three fire prisms? Because the rules wont let me use four in (regular 40k).

Well I have not written the kisses, because it is obvious, without them harlies would be worse than scorpions

On that I would disagree, 5 jetbikes with the destrucor can cut through most of the unids, but You have to soften the unit You are targetting a little bit, that means 1 or 2 turns of long range shooting and then mooving in for the kill. I also find them perfect for cutting genestealers, due to the destructor and linked catapults, now that the nids can not have 4+ save they are easy prey
