While I don't plan on winning, I'm trying to go to the SoCal Slaugter GT this year and I need to get in more competitive practice than I can with my regular (too busy) gaming group. Looking to try to schedule a few games in the next couple weeks - I'm pretty flexible schedule wise but would prefer weekday evenings or saturday. I don't have a table but I can reasonably get to Game Empire in Pasadena or Aero Hobbies or pretty much any other LA store to play.

I frequent game empire and GW at the glendale galleria.
Ge on tues and weekends and GW on thurs. Weekday after six. Gaming at ge was light on Tues. Where is aero and his many table do they have?[b]

Aero is in santa monica, on santa monica between yale and stanford. They only have like 4 tables and it is a terrible place to go just looking for a pickup game, but it's fine for a scheduled game.

I think I'll try to hit GE this coming tuesday, I see that it's their warhammer night, should have gone yesterday. Maybe saturday morning/afternoon too.

There is a RTT you can practice at on the 10th at Game Empire Pasadena. And if you ever find youself down near the bunker you can hit me up. I'd be down to get in a few practice games Always looking for a competitive opponent. PM me if you wanna set something up.

Yes go to EK on Saturday I will be there and others too if you don't want the comp at GE on Saturday but that is a good practice though as there will be some good players as usual. At GE there are having a mini comp on Tuesdays in April but its only 1250 though.

Thanks blackmoor...I ended up going to the GE RTT instead though because it is a bit closer, though it would have been nice to play the slaughter missions.

I think I'll hit GE on tuesday too for the mini game night. After three games today I feel like I still have my army and most of the rules down pretty well and didn't slow play...just wanted to get the rust out. Tau aren't going to win the tournament anyway but I can at least be competitive I think.

There was a good turnout for last Tuesday comp. I think we had at least ten player and five our six were tau. There was some other gaming that day so I had to wait for a table but next Tuesday we will have the whole store.
