Bounding Black Templar Assault Marine

Am I right thinking that when you roll a 6 at the begging of the game they gain power weapons AND gain a extra attack. It says that they game a additional ability and/or equipment.
Thus a roll of 6 means they gain a power weapon which would make them double armed as they start with only a close combat weapon. Right?
Thanks,
Chris
I believe you do get power weapon AND a ccw. It says something along the lines of the unit rolls on the table and gains the special rule/wargear in addition to what they already have.
(that's what another guy said on warseer.com)

Yes, this has been debated before - please do a search before posting a new thread!
They gain "extra equipment", already have a CCW and then gain a power sword.

And then to death again...with a beaten and gutted horse by the side of the River. Gutted a la God of War at least... Some people out there don't agree because their brains just don't register the 'extra equipment' bit.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

I guess people just don't like it when a costly unit that most people don't field gets really good, :p
That said I agree with the above posters that the possessed gain 'extra equipment' power weapons that alongside their CCW grant a +1 attack.
