It is way too busy for my taste. Some of the GW codex covers suffer from the same business.

you have to remember that the main rulebook covers wrap around the book as well as the fact that the picture does not take up the whole front of the book so it may not be as bad as you think.

The small picture of the Blitzer also says "Hordes MK2 cover art", and "favorite slice".
So are both part of a bigger picture or what?

There is an attitude that not having an insanely optimized, one shot, six stage, omnidirectional, inevitable, mousetrap of an assassin list army somehow means that you have foolishly wasted your life building 500 points of pure, 24 karat, hand rolled, fine, cuban fail. That attitude has been shown, under laboratory conditions, to cause cancer of the fun gland.

Hmm, I like the Mauler/Gladiator throw-down in the centre, and Madrak in the bottom right, but I can't help but think that the Skorne warlock could do with being a bit more prominent - I almost missed that it was on there at all!
