Do scything talons get there re-roll when they're rolling to hit vehicles?

The way I'm reading it is that ST allow "To Hit" re-rolls, which are rolls on the To Hit chart. While vehicles have a separate to hit chart.

It does not state "when comparing WS" so it is any "to hit" roll.

100% Correct. It works on any rolls to hit, even against vehicles.

Careful, paranoid Puma will say we're the same person again, or that youre just upping your post count....

To OP: one weapon* which IS different depending on what you are trying to deal damage to are lightning claws and their variants. These specify a reroll "to wound", and therefore *don't* work on vehicles - as you dont wound vehicles, you roll to penetrate armour.
