Free for the month of april, and with their great models I dare say I will jump on this chance.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

No kidding, and for those who don't know warlord is owned by Paul Sawyer, and gosh can't remember the other name off hand, but they are linked with companies like mantic and some other gret stuff.

Huh. Didn't realize that. That's almost reason enough for me to buy from them. I thought it was a shame when GW made the Fat Bloke redundant.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

Who are Warlord Games?
Well, primarily we’re wargamers who are desperately passionate about historical wargaming and as such will be producing great rules and miniatures for you. We want to be bringing you miniatures, rules and the like that we are proud of and excited by ourselves – that way we know you’ll love them too.

John Stallard is best known as author of the Warhammer Historical: English Civil Wars rules. Whilst this period is one of his passions he’s probably better described as someone to whom history is an opportunity to play with as many different armies as possible. John’s gaming room is any wargamers dream – unlike his Timmy Mallett shirt…

Paul Sawyer was editor of Games Workshop’s White Dwarf magazine for many years. With an unhealthy love for World War II wargaming he can often be found lovingly stroking models of Jagdpanthers…

With over 40 years worth of experience in the wargaming industry between us we think we know great games and miniatures when we see them. Judging by the responses to our first forays into producing our own stuff you won’t be disappointed with what we’ll be bringing you!

Ripped from Warlord's page.

I believe one of the Bigs at Mantic is Ronnie Lenton(sp?). Who, IIRC, used to be at GW as well.

I talked to the guys at the Warlord/Mantic booth at Adepticon. I think one was Ronnie, brain is fuzzy.
They gave some good deals, and chatted about future stuff.
Nothing groundbreaking, just backing up what their sites are showing.

Aye I chatted with steve morgan for a while there at adepticon. He was former head of trade and sales in the U.S. I ended up walking away with the Black Powder rulesbook at a great deal and the limited edition fig made just for the event!

Warlord has said they are announcing something BIG at salute and considering how full their lines are I can only imagine. I like them because any line they produced and haven't bought is complete. They don't leave it open ended and the ones they buy.. they complete

Was Steve the Warlord guy with the Brit accent that used to live in Maryland?
He got me to buy the Imperial Roman Battalion made from the individual boxes(124 models for $80), he threw in the Roman Emperors blister.

Some day I will pick up some of their Bolt-Action WWII stuff. The vehicles are great.

I will watch for that. Wonder if it will stack with the Adepticon discount from the Swag Bag?

Nice stuff, hadn't noticed their WW2 vehicles before.

Just about resisted the Centaurs, lucky they didn't have any Churchhills or my wallet would be taking a hammering!
