not sure if anyones thought of this before, though it would have been a little more productive if the trygon (prime sounds more appropriate) can summon or call upon a retinue of raveners, im reflecting the necron tomb spyder scarab rule, but rather than the possibility of sacrificing a precious wound for a scarab swarm, it could be added in the same way as the tyrant guard with the Hive Tyrant, and a similar rule to the tyrant guards bloodrage thing would be cool, any thoughts?

It wouldn't work fluff wise. The trygon is at least twice the raveners size if not 3 times. That and raveners aren't made to be shields, they're lightly armored & scrawny (to dodge in melee).

That and if I'm understanding you correctly, you want Trygons to be able to spawn raveners like a TS summons scarabs? That's broken, no way around it.
