It's relevant to video games, so I'll lock the thread and leave it in the forum.

Would be better to just delete the thread and ban the user, since it's against Microsoft's Terms of Use and a phishing site.

The site does seem hokey... "too good to be true" and all that...

I looked at the site. As far as I can tell it is like a chain letter where you get some points for everyone you get to make a link. That isn't phishing.

The user clearly isn't a spambot because he has been a member for 18 months and has made a number of real posts.

I don't know what Microsoft's terms of use are. Anyway it isn't my job to enforce them.

Since you have concerns I'll leave the alert open for some other moderators to look at.

I'm with Kilkrazy on this. I can't actually access the site at work (Content Filtered!), but it's not a spambot and this seems to be opt-in.

I'll go ahead and say this: Give out your personal information at your own risk.

That said, it may be legit. We'll leave it up to the users to decide for themselves.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1
