In my codex blood angels it allows for a land speeder tornado pattern. What is this upgrade? I didn't see it as an upgrade on it's page. Please tell me what this upgrade is.

A Tornado pattern Land Speeder is a basic Land Speeder that has an additional weapon mounted under the nosecone (typically a Heavy Flamer or Assault Cannon, though I believe there are other options).

Here's one from my BA army:

The Assault Cannon on mine is what makes it a 'Tornado' pattern. Likewise, a 'Typhoon pattern' would be one with a Typhoon Missile Launcher. As long as you have two weapons, one of which is mounted under the nosecone, it's a 'Tornado'.

Regular - 1 gun
Tornado - 2 guns
Typhoon - missile launcher + 1 gun

Note that nothing says that you must put the single gun on top....

Here's a different question (should be a new thread ?)

The regular Land Speeder is equipped with a Heavy Bolter, which can be changed for a Multi Melta or Heavy Flamer.
It can then be upgraded further into a Tornado pattern with Heavy Bolter / Flamer, Multi Melta or A.Cannon. With me so far

Does this mean that you can field 2 Multi Meltas or 2 Heavy Flamers . . .

FOr newer Codexes, yes. For older codexes (BT comes to mind) you cannot do this.
