If so where did you place the magnets?
i'm almost affraid that the ones that are small enough to imbed won't be strong enough to hold them on.
i appreciate any input.

Are you talking about the weapon mounts, if so try this...

If you are reffering to the wings themselves... they just plug into the body of the Valkyrie.

I remove them for transporting to and from gaming.

I'd also like to hear other suggestions besides magnets if anyone has any.

You could try pinning the wings, that could work.

I magnetised the wings on my first one.

There is one magnet in the forward 'step' where the front edge of the wing sits (and a matching one in the wing itself) then the wing mounts themselves have two 3mmx2mm - valkyrie side and two 3mmx1mm in the wings).

Although with even a single layer of paint, the wings will stay in their sockets very well without assistance.

do you get the impression that if the wings were to loosen up, the magnets would be strong enough to hold the wings?

and thanks!

Does spraying extra layers of varnish sort of work with the same idea of paint?

Yes to both of you.

I've given the Valk a good shake with the wings on and they stay in place. for general play use, they are definitely strong enough.

Larger magnets would work better, but then you get into the realms of magnetic strength v glue strength as well.

Well, there is still the wing tab that fits into the slot on the tail booms.
the magnets are there to hold it in place as they are removed for transport.
