Can an immobilised dreadnought pivot (spin) in place during the shooting phase?

Under the "Walker Shooting" section it says that "This pivoting in the shooting phase does not count as moving...", which would lead me to believe that, yes, yes it can pivot to shoot (or cast psychic power) while immobilised.

What you guys think?

No. Pivoting is still moving. It just doesn't "count as" moving.

I believe that they do have a 180 Degree arc of fire, according to the BRB. Just no turning around!

Walker weapons have a 45 degree arc of fire, not 180.

Immobilised Walkers can not pivot. The 'Damaged - Immobilised' entry on page 61 states that Immobilised vehicles may not turn in place. The Vehicles and Movement section on page 57 also states that immobilised vehicles may not pivot (last paragraph, statement in brackets).

Of course...

That's what I get for posting before I pull out the rule book.

That 180 degree thing from 4th edition has a lot of staying power in the minds of gamers for some reason.

I remembered seeing the diagram... It just didn't occur to me that it was in the older edition!
