Should you be able to use Corbulo if you are the one rolling to end/continue the game?

I dont think that the responsibility for this dice roll is placed on any single players shoulders. I have a hard time beleiving that you should be able to use Corbulo's ability for this one.

-Hey man, its turn 5. If the game ends I win. If it goes on...looks like you'll be able to assault me off the objectives and wipe me out. Want me to roll?

-Sure. Go ahead.

-K, (rolls dice) Whoops, well the game 'would' go on but I'm going to use Corbulo's special ability.

-I can RR any single dice roll that I make in the game....hey, looky there, the game ends. (after RRing quickly)

In standard Missions, it only works if you both agree to allow the BA player to roll it, since it only asks for "a player" to roll it.

In Battle Missions, it specifies which player has to roll it. If this is the BA player, then he can.

How does one determine who rolls it in a standard mission? The rules dont say.

I guess it would be a d6 roll to see who rolls the roll.

Which you could use Corbulos re-roll on!

But yeah, there are no rules for determining who rolls it in standard missions beyond mutual agreement.

And to be fair, it's too risky imo to keep Corbulo for the end roll. Better off using it to get the 1st turn or to make an essential save or to stop that land raider scattering off the board

yea, but there is nothing like getting people all freaked out about..... "Yea, I think I will probably save his re-roll for the random game length if I need it" and then watch how everything goes after him.
