Guardsman with Flashlight

Hey guys I'm planing on repainting my IG army to look like the ISA troopers from the Killzone games.
My main question is what paints do I need to buy. Also any painting techniques you guys could give would be great.

im going by memory *back when i played killzone 1* i think if neck collar should be orange, and clothing should be a off green and armor should be Grey. any other little fancy stuff can be orange for contrasting color
so working off citadel paints i would go
orange base coat Macharius Solar Orange and work highlights from fiery orange to golden yellow (the fiery orange part is not necessary but if you have it then do it)
armour i would base coat codex Grey wash with badab black and re high light with fortress Grey
clothing would go with catachan green wash with devlin mud then highlight with grechin or snot green(not too shore here about the highlight)
if your a lazy painter with lots of models the highlighting stages can be drybrushed if you wish?
hope this helped

Would you be comfortable using Vallejo colors or are you just wanting to stick with GW colors?
If Vallejo: I can give you the exact colors that match the Killzone 2 ISA.
Assuming that this is what you want, right?
Fatigue pants/body armor/webbing: Olive Grey
Helmet/boots/weapon body: Glossy Black
Neckguard(which, as far as I'm aware is part of a life preserver built into the body armor): Orange Brown

I don't mind using other brands of paints my FLGS sells both brands.
As for the fatigues of the troopers I was looking for a greyish color.

Olive Grey is what I've seen that matches it perfectly for the fatigues.
Unless you go out of your way to make the delineation between the 'outer' and 'inner' fatigues, because it looks like they have a smock or a second pair of pants over the normal fatigues.

So, Killzone 1 then not KZ2.
Either way, it's the same fatigue color.

Yeah I see what your getting at now, my bad.
O I got one last question. What would be the easiest way to remove the imperial eagles from the helmets.
And thanks for the help.

To remove the aquilas from the helmets?
Knife blade along it to remove most of it, then file off what's left.

Sharp knife blade and a careful hand can just shave them off.
Emery nail boards can be used to sand them off.
