So today I decided I would pick one of the three armies I had sitting around, and try at the very east to get a little steam rolling. I have a large chaos force that is pretty much put together and primed, an AoBR ork army that is very far from even clipped and a traitor guard army that I wanted to make for The Eye of Terror campaign if any one can remember that from years ago... So I looked at them all and said "whats it gunna be?" and being a bit on the insane side I said "who needs to work on an army that is almost ready to paint? Lets work on an army that is pretty much ground up!"

So I am going to necro my old traitor guard army which is not really an army but more of a squad of cadians right now...

The basic design idea is:
-Nurgle Guard, I will be playing it as a counts as IG army, no Lost and the Damned(is that even still around?) pretty straight forward guard army. Think toxic shock troops.
-I will be using the FW resin torsos for my vets, and the resin tank commanders, not too keen on the autoguns for arm replacement. Are autoguns even still playable in game?
-I am going to carve the faces out of the helmets and sculpt gas masks using plasticard tubes and rods for the lens and respirators; shave all the loyalist symbols off and add rotten nurgle bits.

Today I went to my FLGS and picked up 3/32 tubes and a bit larger rods; i will hopefully have some time in the next day to get a test figure up and going for c&c.
This is my first project log so i hope people keep checking back as I expand this army, also I am very out of practice when it comes to playing in 5th ed, so I may be asking tactical question like should I really make X squad with Y wargear? Should I make a different thread in the tactical area or if its related to how I am modeling the troops can that stay in this blog?
