People must have been wonderign when my crack team of Scouts were coming home. and the news we have is the best intel so far this year. unfortunately it's not so great news. a force of chaos has been gathering over in the Elysium fields. my sniper Bonehead managed to 'take Out' there general which resulted in a massive brawl to see which chaos was the new leader. after the Shed, one daemon stood on a pile of the others. He shouted,
"why has Everybody been fighting me, when they could be Slaughtering our Ex general's murderers, now find them!!!" And then they roared, and ran in all directions, a few towards us. we dashed and managed to Escape, we couldn't believe it, we were So lucky. so now we're coming home, with news of the Dangerous possessed marines. it was Very close that time, we Nearly died. Everyone in the squad is so pleased! goodbye, cya soon.

Can you decode this one, hopefully i've done it in the right order but it's my first time trying this so it migth be a bit wrong. Shouldn't be though. Good luck.

There is actually an answer to all my secret codes, if your just going to take the mick then why bother. And nothing is meant to be funny. It's meant to be a challenge, I don't want any refferrals to the ork thread in here from now on, this is completely different.

Have you not learnt your lesson yet? These thread are annoying. We take no pleasure, no enjoyment and waste our time, for something that doesn't even have a prize!

I'm moving this to 40k Background. You need to put a bit more of an introduction on this, scarskull5; I almost just locked it as spam.

I might have figured it wrong, I was using 5 rows of 4 and the last row was 3. It's my first caesar, i'll stick to things I know better in future.

All you have to remember is the total number of letters need to have a square root that equals a full number, this is how many letters long the line should be and it usually works out having the same column lengths as well. Then write the message down starting from the left courner making sure the rows end up being the right length. Then grab those rows and put them together into one big line.

Main problem is that if you now how to solve a Caeser Box the puzzle is solved almost right away. So it needs to be hidden and simply have a few small hints at what type it is.
Only problem with it is it can be annoying to try and write a message as it has to have an exact square root to work. If you're a few letters under or over it doesn't work.

Huh, on a guide to writing/decoding them it said just round the rows up to the would be next square root.

Well I didn't learn from a guide someone showed it to me on another site when I was writing a story and they wanted to ask stuff that could possibly be spoilers (No PMing on the site ). I guess rounding up could work, never tried it that way though.

Actually no, a few of my friends are 12, and they're spelling and grammar is impeccable, this is more like the work of a 10 year old.
