Ok, I have a little delemma, I am making an army that has two terminator squads, and my original idea was to use converted Grey Knight Terminators, but that would be a little more costly, and I still kinda like the regular termies. With my chapters fluff, the GK termie idea sounds more fitting, and I like them both, PLEESE HELP MEEEEE!!!!

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I Die, You are forgiven. If I Live, I will kill you." Such is the Rule of Honor.

You have to go with regular termies, You can always convert them to your liking. Much easier to play with plastic than metal.

If it's the heads you're after (they are the GK termies' most distinctive feature) this tutorial might sway you over to the plastic side:

Actually, another thing that GKT termies have is that they don't have hunched-backs like normal termies do. They look as if they're standing erect, while normal termies look like they belong ringing church bells.

Somewhere.

I'd go for the Grey Knight models. Although they're harder to work with and customize, the models are much better looking than normal terminators.

Yeah, go with GK Termies.

While the GK Termies look dramatically better than the plastic Termies, they are a noticeably smaller scale when performing arm swaps, etc...

I'd say go with the GK, they really do look so much cooler, but it really depends on what conversions you have in mind...they could well end up looking like apes, as the plastic arms reach the feet of the GK models!

Yar, one thing I never did like about regular termies.

I've found a way of cutting down the torsos to avert that problem though, which ishould make a tut of.

My waffling aside, I would go with regular, as plastic yields more custom options.

Get the plastics, do the helmet conversion, and get creative with the poses!

I'll pobly do the conversion on a GK termie blister, and see if I like it, as the poll is still fluctuating, but if there is a definite winner I'll go with that.

It's been said already but the options for customization is far better with the plastics.
