I just saw this forum topic. I've been cruisn' around on this site for a few months now, but I suppose I'll just go ahead and introduce myself anyway:

I'm relatively new to the tabletop War gaming scene. I started playing WHFB three years ago, not including the time I bought a rulebook, a Dark Elf book, and a Manticore back in middle school.

If I had to be part of any army in Warhammer, it would be Brettonia. I love the Arthurian feel. I've actually got a rendition of the Olde Code up on my wall, to help me remember what I stand for. Now, if I had to pick an army that I'd love to play (which I did have to), it would be Skaven. I'm a big fan of making my opponent survey the table, run his fingers through his hair, sigh, and say "I just don't know where to begin".

All of that said, I'd also just like to say that I plan on saving the world. Part of my plan involves working on being more understanding, wiser, kinder, and so on. The other involves playing a lot of games. Role-playing, specifically-I've been playing D&D for over half of my life-and these games have really helped me and my friends grow. Part of the gaming hobby for me is the immersion in fantastic, legendary stories. Part of it is simply collecting enough books, dice, and-now-armies that all of the people I meet who can't afford these things can partake in them and learn what they have to offer.

So that's it. It's good to be here.

How is it they live in such harmony - the billions of stars - when most men can barely go a minute without declaring war in their minds about someone they know.
