What are some of the most reliable sites for buying 40k and fantasy bits? Which sites have the best balance of good variety, prices, customer service, and shipping charges/time.

I was thinking of ordering from the Bitz Barn...are they any good?

I've used Apocabitznow many times, no complaints. Also The Warstore. They made one error, but comped me the bit and fixed the error ASAP, so no complaints there.

I've used Bitz Barn, they sent my bitz quickly and in good packaging. Shipping can be pricey if you're just ordering a couple of things, and sometimes their stock is pretty low or out but it is accurate on the site.

I've also used eBay shop Horde-o-bits. His listings can be found all over ebay with separated plastic kits. Sometimes it's worth the price, other time people will actually bid up to near full retail price of the kit just for the bitz! Last time I saw this was on Gargoyle Wings, though. Everyone seems to like those.

I've also had The War Store make errors on several orders, so I'm hesitant to use them for "odd" things now...

I'm looking for a good place to buy some warhammer square bases, I think that qualifies as bits

Personally I have had good experience with bits & kits, although they may be a bit off their game lately if other posts on this forum are true.

One I can highly recommend is these guys on ebay, Blackdagger Games- http://stores.shop.ebay.ca/Blackdagger-Games__W0QQ_armrsZ1

They have a very good selection, decent prices, and in my opinion a very strong offering: individual complete plastic models. I picked up 4 ghouls for my Genestealer conversions for 1.95, which is a fair price, and saves the trouble of buying the entire box and or individually buying all the bits. Usually you have to buy a sprue or a lot of parts to get the one model you wanted.

BattlewagonBitz in the UK is good too.
Edit: Oh, and Bitkingdom, I'm pretty sure I've bought stuff from them.

BitzBox has been excellent for me here in the UK, dunno about their overseas policy.
