Well i've been wanting to do a blog for a while now but I tend to buy stuff as and when I feel like it which would give me a rather random blog. Luckily things seem to have come together very well, giving me the chance to finaly start one. I have recently got hold of a small Beastmen army, A rather large tau army, some CSMs and I will be starting NGs soon (as some of you will know from another thread). As you will see later from the pictures I am going to need some help with motivation which is another reason I started this.

As the title says I will be starting with Tau.

This whole thing started few weeks ago I got into a conversation with a friend from my gaming club who saw me playing Tau (at this point I only had a 1500pt army which contained 6 crisis suits, 2 Devilfish, a handful of FW, a Hammerhead and a lot of proxies) and mentioned he had some sitting in a box in his house and I could have them on the condition that I used them, as he didn't want them to be wasted. When I saw him next a few days ago I was expecting a few FW maybe a Dfish. Then mid game he called me over and showed me all the models. I was rather suprised when I saw what he had bought.

I have been testing out colour schemes for weeks trying to find one I liked, I knew I wanted them city based but I didn't like any of the combinations that I tried. I was stuck, until I saw these models which since then have grown on me. The colour scheme is going to be this:

I didn't paint this one but I plan on finishing it off and painting the others the same way.

First I have to fix a lot of the models as bits need replacing, stripping and the suits need to be magnetized, but I should have a tester model up in the next few days.

Hopefully Night Goblins soon aswell.

Crivens I may be picking up some Space Wolves off of a friend in the next couple of months...my heart rate is already racing at the thought of more metal and plastic.
