If you want tau battles just use google. type in something like tau vs chaos tau vs orks etc

But I can give you a quick overview of typical effective Tau tactics.

Lots of fire warriors and marker lights, camp in deployment zone with a couple broadsides and hammerheads to support.
occasionally people use kroot as a meat shield.

Second one I have seen is battle suit spam, use them as bodyguards and elites anywhere you can fit them essentially and you get something like 15 battle suits at once.

Just a few pointers:
Stay away from Vespids, Sniper drone teams, Ethereals & Rail rifles in pathfinder squads. The rail rifles look nice but trust me markerlights are much better.
