Basic plan is to have the infantry squads mob together in 40-man groups anchored on either side of Straken, relying on power weapons, rerollable stubborn LD9, and attrition to get through close combat. The regimental standard will let me reroll morale tests without executing the sergeants. Al`Rahem brings outflanking meltaguns to the party, with the lascannons and psykers filling in for long ranged antitank until then.

Fluff is Lost and the Damned with an Alpha Legionnaire as counts-as Straken, though no one at my FLGS really cares about fluff.

I'm not really sure why you have so many meltaguns on a foot list. Is your hope to run across the board with 127 T3 BS3 5+ save guys and to have the other 37 outflanking (all anchored by two Lascannon squads)?

Looks alright, although I think you need infantry and HWS rather than psykers. Lots of armies have psychic defense that low-LD guard psykers can't match. You could have 3 autocannon squads and one more lascannon squad for the points of those psykers.

I do suggest using flamers+GLs in the blobbed platoons, and purely meltaguns for the outflankers. More HWSs will give you the anti-vehicle punch you need until al'rahem's bunch arrives.

Definitely, never mix special weapons in squads, it just isn't worth it.

Take something instead of psykers-they're not the most effective units
