So my friend is playing Death company and he claims that the Liturgies of Blood that lemartes has gives his death company dreadnaught it's special abilities. I disagree with this because the DC Dread is not part of the unit that lemartes is in it's just a different kind of dreadnaught or if the dreadnaught is part of death company does it have to stay in coherency?

It is not the same unit, as it is a Death Company Dreadnought and NOT Death Company

This is what I said but he is also referring to the UO BA FAQ that states that Death Company may include anyone who has the name of death company like the chaplin.

now on the other hand a priest can transfer furious to the dread

he's not a part of the unit. he's not a squad so other chaplains can't join him either. he never gets to use litanies. as for priests and furious charge, he already has it as a death co dread IIRC. other dreads can benefit from a priests furious charge, though.

Well if that was the case Blood talons on the DC dreadnought would be ludicrous on average you'd kill 32 marines on the charge...

I think your friend is stretching a bit (to say the least).
