Hey, Vmag here. Long time lurker, first time contributor.

Gaming: I started gaming when I was probably about 10 years old, mostly D&D with W40K, very little Fantasy, and some Blood Bowl thrown in from time to time. The last time I played W40K was during 2nd edition but I was reinvigorated at GenCon last year (our first trip) and became enthralled all over again. It has been a very long time since I last played any W40K so learning the 5th Ed rule-set has been like learning an all new game. DakkaDakka has been a great help with this process, especially the YMDC threads. Very very helpful stuff here for newbs and I would thank some of the more prolific posters who's wit, wisdom, and experience have helped me muddle through this process. I hope I can contribute and help along those ever-present newbs just as I was aided many months ago.

Location: I am not exactly in a hot-bed of gaming situated here in SE IA, US Luckily though the Chicago Battle Bunker is 3hrs door-to-door so I hope to get down there maybe once a month. I was there for the first time at Adepticon a few weeks ago and was quite impressed with it.
