Friend of mine is doing up marines, but I'm trying to help him work towards an armored list since
he's got tons of old-school rogue trader to 2nd edition vehicles. I'd like any C&C to help make a list.
The only real 'must haves' for this list are the land raider and vindicator. Keep in mind I want to keep
it pretty armored.

Land Raider and Vindis will spearhead. Pred / Razorbacks will give fire support. Tactical Marines will camp on deployment/objectives.
Most likely the Rhino/Command squad will take advantage of feel no pain and outflank and come in plasmaguns blazing from reserves.

Thoughts how to make it a better list?

Seems like a waste of points to just have one unit use the outflank ability. Khan might not be the best HQ choice for this list. A librarian or even a Captain with a Relic blade might work out better. Might want to put the Command squad in a Razorback since it's only a 5 man squad. It would help add some firepower.

Thanks, the instakill ability seemed nice on Khan for 160 points when I was perusing the codex. I did up a combat oriented captain and it was like 140-150 points. I considered that other 20 points paying for outflank. If he doesn't outflank and takes a libby instead, I'd not be able to take the command squad in the list, So it'd probably be a captain w/relic blade/stormshield.

I suppose he could try a libby/chappy and use sternguard instead of the command with plasmas.
