Im moving to lawrence, in a couple weeks, just trying to find a local gaming group or club, or even just a local person to get some games in with.
I play WH 40k, and have fantasy armies im working on also, im interested in other game systems also.

There is a store in KC called Table Top Game and Hobby. I will be going to their 750 pt speed tournament on the 24th. Their website has the details of when you can meet up with people for gaming.

Also 31st Century in Olathe. I've been to both stores (Tabletop and 31st) and Phil and Joe are pretty cool. Good gaming areas.

TT is more "mature" gaming, while 31st has more Teens/College.

Battlezone used to be in Lawrence off of Wakarusa, but not sure if it's still there.

Anywhere worth being

Hometown Games is actually in Lawrence, although there are several hobby stores in nearby towns such as Topeka and Olathe.

Tuesday nights, there's a bunch of guys from all around the surrounding area that play at Hometown. You can get a game or two in at any points level, and we're more than willing to help out new comers to the hobby. We usually get started around 5:00 pm.

Thursday nights are at 31st Century in Olathe, and Friday nights are at The Gatekeeper in Topeka.

I just moved to Lawrence, myself, and I'm loving the 40k community here. Great crew, and great games.

I might try my hand at that tourney as well. Fear the guard.

Not sure if Phil is running one (probably is), but I know 31st will be running one.

No 'ard Boyz in Lawrence. Gatekeeper in Topeka is running it though. And 31st Century, as Uriel mentioned.

I might be there. I don't think I'm playing though. I need more time to tweak my regiment.
