This may sound dumb, but just got the nurgle damon prince and it came with a termi base, is this the right size? looks like it needs a bigger base....

2000ish. 2000.

You can use either, the termie base is legal though and has come in all of the DP kits I have bought.

The rule is "what comes in the package" not "what it is modelled with on the GW site"

Pretty much what folks here have said. The 40 is the legal base for your Daemon Prince. Most folks I've seen use 60's for those models though. On a 40, they just look like they're trying to get out.

In terms of play, if the 40 works for you, go for it. If you put it on a 60 though, I don't see it being an issue for folks. It just means more stuff can get into base to base contact in hand to hand.

Yeah, you're technically supposed to use them on the term bases. But I, like a lot of other people, put them on the MC ones. When half the model is hanging off the base, it just gets stupid.
