Hi All!

Another Blood Angels model completed!

I've tried, to the best of my abilities, to build it to be modular. Done with the help of 2mm rare earth magnets.

- Sponsons are removable and replaceable with standard Rhino doors.
- Turret weapons are swapable with Flamestorm cannon or Assault cannon.
- Turret bustle is swapable with the Flamstorm fuel canisters or Assault cannon ammo hoppers.
- Turret ring mounting can be removed and replace with Rhino top hatch.

In short, it can be a Baal Predator (with either turret weapons with/without sponsons) or a Rhino!

Alot of work was put into it and it was totally worth it!

The red on the armour works particularly well for me. One thing I would say is that there are mould lines down the side of the flame cannon turret's barrels (sorry I don't know the proper name), which when you're drybrushing a lot stick out like a sore thumb

Agreed. Mold lines are one of the first things I notice...but then, I'm a bit obsessive about 'em.

how are you getting that black on the red armour? is it just a wash?

I tend to miss this kind of things. Anyway, I don't think it's a moldline, but rather the melted plastic that occurs when using plastic cement.

@ Cjsuner and Pierced Soul: I primed black, drybrushed Mechrite Red, drybrushed Blood Red and finally washed with Gryphonne Sepia to achieve the red.

I gotta ask where do you get your magnets.

huh.... do you do a heavy dry brushing? cuz when i think of Drybrushing, i always think of small little feathering...

Drill out the sponson barrels - they're flat yellow right now!
4/5 overall, I like the rough weathered beaten look.

Mold lines doeth offend.

I made my predator the same way. It's very difficult to find a good solution for swapping sponson weapons, so it seems like JaWzY83 just have the flamer sponsons.

JaWzY83: You forgot to magnetize the Rhino Storm Bolter hatch. I magnetized the top hatch on the turret as well as the little round thing where the Storm bolter hatch of the rhino normally is.
