I want to make some penal legionaries. I need some ideas because the converted Catachans look too healthy, and the cadians all have shirts on.

I was thinking of using some of these bodies and greenstuffing the prison garb on and covering up some stuff when needed, but I think they might be too spindly.

Any ideas on scrawny models, especially arms and torsos? Doesn't have to be GW.

Thanks

Hmmm... my post vanished...

Here we go...

How about Flagellants?

Or, if you do not mind the fiddliness, gnoblar arms with Catachan hands stuck on.

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

Oh indeed, flagellants would work really well, just paint them up in orange jumpsuits, give them lasguns and they'll work up a treat!

Even normal Empire State Troops are quite a bit skinner than normal Guardsmen.

Anyone ever used those? They look like they could save me a lot of filing and removing so I could just concentrate on adding stuff with GS. They are 28mm and a much more affordable base for the project.

I think the orge kingdom arms look cool but the hands are too weird and big, which was a problem with the zombies.

Thanks!

Keep 'em coming!

A lot of the WHFB zombies are rather gaunt (as opposed to skeletal), but of course you may need to cover up the plentiful gaping wounds and hanging guts (or not, depending on how healthy you want your troopers to be).
