Hi Everyone,
I'm thinking of placing an order with The Warstore and would like to know if any of the other UK members have used them and if they're willing to share their experience.

Thanks in advance

They are great, my friend in finland used them. The owner goes above and beyond. Any problems with the order, he rectifies it for you automatically.

Neal does a great job, but seeing as you're right in the UK you might want to look for "Maelstrom Games".

Haven't used them personally, but a lot of folks here swear by them.

Thanks for the replies, but I'm after the "Wargamers backpack" and neither Maelstrom nor Wayland stock it. So unless there's anywhere in the UK that has it, other than "evil-bay" I guess its The Warstore.

Was just making sure you knew there's alternatives than ordering from the US

Can't go wrong with Neal though. He'll get it shipped to you by the end of the work day today(7pm for him) if your order goes in now.

Thanks, now I just need to make sure SWMBO doesn't find out, I know I'll get her some jewellery beforehand, that should work .

I put an order in from the Warstore 6am CST on a Sunday, and I got a tracking number 6 hours later, showing delivery in 4 days - not bad for UPS ground.

Neal's customer service has always been outstanding and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone for anything he carries. He's the Newegg of tabletop games.

Might be worth contacting him and asking him what postage companies he uses. If it's UPS international and you get caught for a customs charge then they tend to charge a small fortune for the delivery as well.

Within the UK, check giftsforgeeks first - they offer bigger discounts on most anything. I've ordered from them and had no problem. One friend had a bit of an incident - they sent his package twice, and charged him once! It could happen to you next, who knows?
