It's a fast army and very lightning quick, but against horde armies and enemies that can mass instant death shots will make small units of warbikers weap the bikers will not prevail.

Keep in mind that each biker is 25 points. An ork player can field 4 boyz with 24 points, so expect disparities in ratios when you look at what fielding an ork biker army will do to you.

It is probably best to keep the ork nob bikers and then supplement that force with boyz in BWs or Trukks.

I've had a lot of success with an all-biker Ork army; the fact that you get a cover save in the open makes it more durable than you'd think. Add to that the mobility and sheer amount of shots, with rerolls, you can pump out, and you have a tactically flexible army.

As a rule of thumb, the designers do not hide "easter eggs" in the rules. If clever reading is required to unlock some sort of hidden option, then it is most likely the result of wishful thinking.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake;
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Warbikerz instead of boyz... depends on what you are playing if you are gonna try to outshoot the tau or space marine go ahead it's not a bad strategy, but for the love of god dont try it against bugs or other orks they'll prolly eat you face. Also if you are gonna use so mnay warbikers, you might wanna run a warlord on a bike with some nob bikerz give half of em all PK's and the rest BC's and cybork you will have a wheeled white cloud of killy stuff. Just make sure the unit has a boss pole and a painboy. Even SHOULD you lose, say againsta brood of carnifex you shouldnt run away, tie em down for two turns of killy death. My nob biker unit of 4 PK's 5 BC's, painboy and warlord on bike got attacked by a full brood of genestealers and Carnifex's, killed them all off, took two rounds of killy death and only warlord was left. But my opponent was shocked, mind you i rolled pretty good. The only downside is this unit is VERY expensive in points if i recall properly somewhere around 600

W/D/L/ A(a= Annihilated beyond doubt)

Orks =44/2/9/2 15k+ pts (assembled/broken)
Black Templar= 4/1/2/1 3k 2k pts (assembled)
