I have been toying with the idea of buying some custom dice for some time. I would really like a set that will match my Alpha Legion models. Thinking Dark Blue base with Silver reliefs, and maybe a Hydra head for the 6. Any suggestions on where to get them? Any of you had any dice made for your own armies?

My club got custom dice made from Chessex. I made us a little dragon head logo and we got it on the dice in place of #6. it came out to around 50 cents per die but the more you order the cheaper it gets. For 1000 dice it's like 38 cents each
they're fun to have. I mostly just use them when I don't play with the club though since everyone else has them too. never thought about getting them done for an army but it seems like a good idea.

I second the Chessex suggestion.
I had some made for a buddy for a gift. They turned out marvelously. As an added bonus, they're 16mm and not prone to the inordinate amount of 1's, like Chessex's 12mm dice.
You might have a problem getting the colors you want, though. They just have what they have for the dice.

I went with Chessex for my adepticon team tourney army custom dice.
Came out excellent, relatively cheap, and they made a few test dice so I could verify what they would look like. no complaints at all.

Yeah, I checked out chessex, but was underwhelmed by their selection. Q-workshop had a really neat selection, but I need to look at it more. Anyone got their own custom dice? Post pics of yours if you do!

I also recommend Chessex. I haven't done any customs but them but I have some of their dice; they look handsome and treat me well.
