Im starting an Ork and Goblins army and I was waiting to see what new stuff they were going to bring out.

I was liking the idea of river trolls already but now I shall definately get some!

They look really hot tbh, the boars, meh kinda disneyish

Yup, even without bits they're acceptable.

I would put money on that we are going to get an influx of Throgg lists.

i have to agree the new river trolls look pretty awesome, and PLASTIC! however i don't know if it really justifies taking them in an army, they always seem to do poorly

on a side note, i think that the new boar boyz look awesome...well, not the pigs they're riding on but the orcs themselves. maybe if i stick them on the old boars they'll look better. also, the pigs might look better with a different paint scheme, similar to what happened with GW's minotaurs...

The minotaurs, warhounds, razorgores, pretty much every example in the BM codex

I love them! So much character... it's great that they didn't go with a "generic troll" kit, and really specialized for the river trolls. The fish, the gill/fin-like ears, etc... just so cool!

Agreed, RiTides. I just set aside a small bag of spare spikes, tentacles, eyeballs, and spawn arms and will grab a box of these beauties as soon they're available!

I think they're absolutely outstanding. A little random, but great. I like the boar boyz too. I can't say I'm surprised at the hate they're getting, but if you compare them to the old boars, I think they're an absolutely tremendous improvement.

Here's hoping we see more releases like this!

the river trolls are really dope. i really like them! the boar boys are pretty cool. i just dont like how the riders look.

IMO its just the paint job. I really think they look a little to animated and cartoony. The beastmen codex example pictures have the same issues imo, Tons of the models look really cartoony and goofy. With a different paint job i think they will look great!

I hate to admit it, but I like these models too, but secretly I've always liked the look of the Orcs and Goblins army. I really like that they are plastic. I really need to squash this desire to field that all calvary orc and goblin army.

The BOYZ on the boars look REALLY, REALLY good. The boars however....a TINY bit less terrible than the razorgor.

Whats with GW and terrible boars(of all kinds)?

I'd rather GW keep characters metal (they will, I'm just saying)

Being metal gives them a bit more significance over the rest of your plastic army.

They are nice, and plastic!

BUT, the old River Trolls are quite nice too.

And dare I say, even better looking then these new ones?

Im just so glad that slowly but surely, everything is becoming plastic cuz its so much better!

Ive always preferred river trolls to stone trolls, but Im a complete fantasy noob, always been 40k you see. Just getting started with a goblin wolf army!

I really like the Boars, again i think it may just be the paint job on them that makes them look abit rubbish. But seeing these new models has actually made me want to jump from 40k into Fantasy finally. But then again i actually liked the BM Minotaurs so my opinion proberbly means nothing...

I must admit they certainly are a improvement considering what they have released quite recently here's hoping the rules aren't too bad either
