I like it. You're gonna take heat on dakka for those bolters. Personally I'm with you there - I can't stand having the best BS in my company standing with their pistools in their hands while the rest of a static squad blazes away, so the pts are worth it for a chance to wound imo. Probably can't go over a point for a tourney tho - limits the limit. Maybe give 1pcs his pistol back and 3 assault specials, like 3xGL's or flamers instead of the HB.

Gonna take heat for sentinels too, especially armoured plasma cannon ones. I've never seen two squadrons of 2, so I'm interested to see what dakka says. Everyone says take two of things, so you took two of two.

I think you've got some good firepower balance and lots of men (70+ scoring squishies in 9 squads). I like your gunline with the standard to hold the HWS's in line and firing. Your support elements are all mobile, with the vends possibly scoring.

One thing is the 300 pts on those sents - I'd rather have another demolisher and one squadron. The other thing is the vox network - that's always fluffy fat imo, i'd be stealing pts from here.

well my take on the sentinels are that it 2 squads of 2 they wont be big targets like the leman russ and vendetta but will still be good at killing meq units with ap2

i know the vox network is pricey but they guarantee orders which are a guard players sleeve card

i was toying around with a assault pc but there's only 5 of them with 5 + saves and without transport will be easy targets for fast hitting enemy's

You cannot be over for tournies.

My suggestions would be to drop the ML for AC (ML are over prices, and pretty poor anyway) and drop all the bolters. Drop the HW from the vet squad, you won't stop moving to use it.
How do you plan on killing tanks once you lose your Vendetta? Melta Vets w/o a transport won't do sqaut once the Vendetta is downed, so you are concentrating all your anti-heavy tank in 1 AV12 hull that will never get cover/LoS blocked.

Dont bother with the HB sponsons on the LRD, as it should never stop moving, so won't be able to use them. They also open up wound allocation problems vs 3+/2+ saves.
Armoured Sentiels are very poor. There only real use is to tie up units w/o PF in CC, for which PC is way too much. I'd suggest dropping them.

Use all these freed up points to get a Manticore and LRExe (which will fill up the anti-heavy tank and plasma spam nicly) and spend any remaining points on Scout Sentials with MLasers or AC.

The Black Antelope is correct on all fronts. I would go one step further and make every HB in his list an AC. They're just better against everything but T3 infantry (for which you have plenty of lasguns)

It depends on who you're facing, but you may also want to switch the vendetta to a MRP valkyrie. Those can be a lot more mobile while still firing to full effect, which seems to make them better for transporting units (also, if your 2 deadliest anti-tank units are in one location, it makes targetting priority for your opponent a no-brainer)

Bolters are acceptable, since 5 points either way isn't going to win/lose games. But I do suggest you cram in all the units you can, and then put in bolters only if you have the points to spare.
